2017 SUMMER ROWING CAMPS


Do you know a student who is interested in rowing? We'd love to hear from them! Please help spread the word that our 2017 Summer Rowing Camps at Episcopal School of Jacksonville will begin in June.

 

Small Boat Rowing Camp - Grades 7 through 11

Begins Monday, June 5th through Friday, June 9th

One session each day 9AM to 12PM

Cost $160

The Small Boat Rowing Camp is for any rower with at least one year of experience at any school or club. Instruction will include sculling and sweep in singles, doubles and pairs. The camp includes on water video taping, which will be analyzed on site to provide maximum feedback on how to improve technique. A summer workout program will be provided and tailored to the individual by request. Instruction is provided by ESJ Program Director and Girls Head Coach Mike Alton. The cost of the camp is $160. Novice Learn to Row Camp - Grades 6 through 11

Begins Monday, June 12th through Friday, June 16th

Two sessions each day 9AM to 3PM

Cost $265

The Novice Learn to Row Camp will provide introductory instruction to rowing. The program will teach the basic rowing stroke on and off the water. The camp will include a morning and afternoon session. This is a great camp for the athlete who always wanted to try the sport but was unable during the school year and/or had a conflicting sport season. Campers will be split up by grade and age to enhance the learning experience. Instruction is provided by ESJ Program Director and Girls Head Coach Mike Alton. The cost of the camp is $265.
